Well, it's not really a new hack per day but I realised that I am totally missing out when it comes to matte liquid lipsticks (which is the current craze in the beauty world globally). It is kind of difficult to get my hands on brands such as Lime Crime, La Splash, Jefree Star and so on while living in Malaysia and we're down to either instagram sellers or whatever that is available in Sephora (which is still not as extensive in selection as in America). I needed to try out an earthy, nude look after seeing a tutorial on instagram and I definitely have about a gajillion eyeshadows in earthy shades. My immediate thought was 

"Why not try eyeshadow as a lip color?"

I tried twice, using a pink lipgloss and then clear lip balm as my base. Clearly my favorite would be the balm as it catches on the pigments better and my lips weren't as dry. If you have access to liquid lipsticks, they are definitely better in terms of coverage but I can't hate this hack cause I love how the color is more subtle yet highlights your natural lip shape, and you get access to almost every eyeshadow color you currently own. The downside? Having to reapply balm every time.
