Ad: Experimenting for Beautifully Straight Hair

I was born with super straight locks and throughout school years, people even thought I had my hair rebonded which was a craze at one point. As blessed as I am, I’ve always longed for wavy hair so I started curling them up, putting them in a bun just to make it less straight. Now, I realized how easier it is to have straight hair – from maintenance to having a sleek look, straight hair will never go out of style. I have been trying my best to achieve the smooth, natural straight hair for a while now and it seems like nothing works to keep it nice and flowy. It’s even worse after I leave it to air-dry! Having shoulder-length hair means I have to do more work to keep it straight and I usually have to use hair iron or a hair dryer to straighten my hair out before I go out. I’d love to skip that step in my routine though so I do not further damage my hair by exposing it to extreme heat on a regular basis.

Well, my husband told me that in his younger bachelor days he used to iron his shirt with a heated pot cause he did not have ironing board in his hostel. So I thought maybe it would work?

But then again, using the pots would mean that my hair would be heated up. Maybe it wasn’t such a great idea. So I tried laying it flat while air-drying and putting heavy books on top just like the idea of making dried flowers in between book pages. It didn’t work out so well cause the books became damp too! Oh my books!

My last resort was to use ‘natural’ ingredients as per suggested by many people on the internet – putting eggs or mayonnaise on the hair to strengthen while keeping it straight and smooth. Um, they’re great on my food but not really on my hair. It felt sticky, smells weird and I won’t ever try such thing again!

I was introduced to the Sunsilk Perfect Straight Variant by my bestfriend – Facebook! It’s great for those who would like to have beautifully straight hair as it has special Straight Lock technologywhich helps to ensure alignment of hair strands as it dries.

I’m pretty excited to try out this product a it keeps your hair beautifully straight and aligned as it dries* and I saw that they’re having a promotion booth in front of Lavender Café in One Utama recently. If you’re as interested as I am, don’t forget to check out this link where I found out about Sunsilk’s Perfect Straight Lock Technology – https://apps.facebook.com/beautifullystraight.
